Jonnie Newman's brand new twelve on Emotif - Following the success of his Tronic EP on Federation Records, Jonnie Newman has teamed up with top d+b producer Ed Moris (see Citizen / Flying Fish / DJ Kalm) for a
brand new sound. Always known for his experiMENTAL edge, and following on where Swerve anthem 'Fat Leslie' left off, 'Smoke' is a turbo-rolla with an slightly unhinged side - the twist-up voices and filtered drums build to a frenzied drop - one for the original nuttahs. 'Dynamik' – is pure Future Punk - metallic robo b-lines and ruffneck beatz -relentless.
